Studio Via in brief

Find courses and original artistic workshops in southern France, Aude, Languedoc

Space for creation, dissemination, artistic education (workshops, courses and conferences) and a cultural exchange  between artistic mediums, the VIA Studio is open to all levels of artistic talent.  It is both a summer school, a gallery, a place of creativity, exchanges without judgement, meetings and pleasurable times in a cosy place in the village of Fontcouverte, a beautiful Occitan village near Lézignan-Corbières, Aude , Languedoc. An artistic calender at  Studio Via is firstly an open invitation to live and share moments  located between Corbières and the Minervois, beautiful region of southern France in the Languedoc close to the Via Domitian,a Roman road and an intersection of different Mediterranean cultures.

V –  as In Vivo.  Inspired by the Latin expression, we wanted to include our mission in the most concrete possible to artistic practice, playful and expressive. You enter VIA Studio in a creative journey, intimate and living through various mediums. You will certainly be charmed by the beauty of our region by the amazing experience that you will live with your creations with professional facilitators and your fellow artists. Artistic practice needs to feed experiences, life stories, impressions and knowledge. This is what makes the richness of each beginner or experienced artist. And this is what we propose to explore through courses that explore artistic practice at your own pace and in total freedom.    

I as in Intermediality This is an approach that focuses on relationships and interactions within works or multimedia practices between distinct mediums. From this concept emerges contemporary art practices. This is called total artwork, pluralistic, mosaic hybrid. Reflecting the diversity of the modern world! You certainly have admired this new type of intermediality creation through exhibitions, events, artistic installations. With the exception of universities and major art schools, there are few places  open to the  intermediality art experience for all beginners or experienced artists. And it is in response to the growing public demand we have developed this new art center approach open to everyone.

A as in Arts .Studio Via explores all opportunities offered by the different artistic media, painting, visual and plastic arts, writing, dance, body work, music, innovative thinking to create the fusion of genres and events, original works that mark a period of life, that are both challenging and transformational.
